Discipline at IIME - Code of Conduct

Discipline

Any act of indiscipline / insubordination/ misconduct / misbehavior will attract server punishment or penalties.

Attendance

Student must maintain minimum 75% attendance of the total number of lectures held in a semester failing which he / she will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Absence from Guest lectures

It is mandatory to attend GLs / workshop.

Dress Code

Student managers are expected to dress up modestly and should wear clothes which are becoming of the institute they belong to. The institute’s formals are to be worn during formal functions and guest lectures. Indecent clothes are against the conduct of our institute and will not be permitted. Student not adhering code will not be allowed to attend classes and will lose their attendance. Repeated defaulters would attract severe disciplinary action and the action taken would be communicated to their parents.

Library Rules

Library rules must be adhered to and books issued / returned according to the rules separately specified.

Computer Lab

Instruction displayed in the lab and communicated from time to time would have to be adhered to.

Ragging

Ragging inside or outside the campus is a punishable act as per government rules on the subject. Severe action will be taken against student who indulges in this activity, as per government rules and regulations.
